Overview
The Information Communications Technician (ICT) Level 3 Apprenticeship is a 13-month programme designed to develop the core technical skills needed to support modern IT environments. Delivered through interactive virtual classroom training and hands-on workplace experience, apprentices will learn how to install, configure and maintain hardware, software, networks and cloud-based systems while applying cyber security best practices. The programme includes core knowledge modules and a specialist pathway in either Support or Networking, allowing learners to tailor their training to business needs. Apprentices are supported throughout their journey with regular progress reviews, guided assessments and a structured end-point assessment to ensure they are fully prepared for success in the workplace.

Course Overview

What will you learn:Â Over 13 months, apprentices learn how to install and configure devices, support users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and apply secure practices to keep networks and systems running efficiently.
Delivery:Â Remote virtual training plus on-the-job learning
Assessment:Â Portfolio, Work-based project & Project Report with a Q&A and an interview based on the portfolio of evidence.
Graduation: You and your employer will be invited to our annual Graduation Ceremony, a chance to celebrate achievements, network with other graduates, and recognise success with awards and recognition.
Modules:
Module 1: Mobility & Operating Systems:Â Installing, configuring, and managing operating systems; supporting mobile technologies.
Module 2: Network Fundamentals:Â Infrastructure, cabling, connectivity, troubleshooting, and network security.
Module 3: Cloud Fundamentals:Â Cloud services, virtualisation, and remote connectivity for business efficiency.
Module 4: IT & Business Principles Service management, compliance, and applying IT solutions to improve operations.
