Safeguarding Responsibilities

JBC Skills Training Ltd takes its safeguarding responsibilities seriously and has implemented safe recruitment practices where roles necessitate regular contact with vulnerable people such as children and young people, or where there is the potential for such contact to occur.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to demonstrate their suitability for work in an education setting and accordingly an appropriate knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures. As part of the wider duties of the role, the successful applicant will be expected to spot and respond to indicators and disclosures of a safeguarding nature.

This role is subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS + Barred Lists and reference checks.
