National Apprenticeship Week is here, and at JBC Skills Training we’re opening up a full week of live sessions, practical workshops, and real industry insight for apprentices, employers, and anyone considering their next career step.
Whether you’re exploring apprenticeships for the first time, looking to upskill your workforce, or planning your next career move, these sessions are designed to give you real, usable information (not just theory).
All sessions are delivered live via Microsoft Teams and are open to join.
What's Happening This Week
DAY 1 – Monday 9th Feb
10:00–10:30 – NAW Kickoff: Intro to JBC & Apprenticeships
Start the week with an overview of apprenticeships, how they work, and how JBC supports learners and employers.
11:30–12:00 – Trainer Talk: ICT Apprenticeship
Hear directly from our trainers about what learners actually study and how skills translate into real job roles.
13:00–13:30 – CV Workshop
Practical tips to help you stand out when applying for apprenticeships or entry-level roles.
DAY 2 – Tuesday 10th Feb
10:00–10:30 – Apprentice Alumni Catch Up
Hear from people who have already completed their apprenticeship and where it has taken them.
11:30–12:00 – Interview Prep Workshop
Confidence, preparation, and what employers are really looking for.
13:30–14:00 – Trainer Talk: Multi Channel Marketing Level 3
A look into digital marketing careers and how apprenticeships build real commercial skills.
DAY 3 – Wednesday 11th Feb
10:00–10:30 – Trainer Talk: Network Engineer Apprenticeship
Explore career routes into networking, infrastructure, and IT engineering.
11:00–11:30 – Building Your Network (LinkedIn + Real World Tips)
How to build opportunities through connections — online and offline.
13:00–13:30 – Career Pathways & Progression Routes
What comes after an apprenticeship? We map real progression options.
DAY 4 – Thursday 12th Feb

Meet other learners, employers, and industry professionals.
13:00–13:30 – EPA Process Explained
Understanding End Point Assessment and how to prepare for success.
DAY 5 – Friday 13th Feb
10:00–10:30 – Employer Q&A: Hiring, Funding, Levy & Process
Perfect for employers considering apprenticeships or wanting to understand funding and hiring support.
11:00–11:30 – Trainer Talk: Helpdesk / 1st Line Support & AI & Digital Productivity Support Apprenticeship
Explore technical support careers and how AI skills are becoming part of modern digital roles.
